CHILI - MICROWAVED 
1 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 to 3 tsp. chili powder

Crumble ground beef in 2 quart glass casserole. Stir in onion and green pepper. Cover with glass lid. Microwave for about 5 minutes on high or until meat is browned. Drain and stir in remaining ingredients; recover. Microwave for 14 to 16 minutes on roast or until hot (about 150 degrees). Let stand, covered, 5 minutes before serving. 4 to 6 servings.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
