BRAN MUFFINS 
2 c. boiling water
2 c. 100% Bran Buds
4 c. Kellogg's All Bran
1 c. (heaping) Crisco
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 qt. buttermilk
5 c. flour
5 tsp. baking soda
3 tsp. salt

Pour water over bran. Let soak. Cream sugar, Crisco and eggs. Add buttermilk and soaked bran. Stir until moist. Add flour, soda and salt. Mix well. Store in tight container in refrigerator. Keep indefinitely. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Makes 70-80 muffins.
