FLAKEY PIE CRUST | |
2 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 c. butter Crisco 4-5 tbsp. ice water Mix dry ingredients and cut shortening with pastry cutter. Add water and blend with pastry cutter. Add 1 teaspoon water if necessary. Form 2 balls - wrap with plastic wrap and refrigerate 30 minutes. Roll out on floured surface to desired size. Repeat with other half. Use as directed for your favorite pie. Yields: 2 crusts. |
