MEXICAN BRIDE COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
4 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
1 c. pecans, chopped

Mix together butter and sugar. Add flour and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pat out with your hand a little dough at a time. Bake at 350 degrees until light golden brown. When cool, roll in powdered sugar.
