MEXICAN WEDDING COOKIES 
5 tsp. sugar
1 cube butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Pinch water

Cream sugar, butter and Crisco together. Add vanilla, flour and nuts; mix well and shape into half moons. Place on cookie sheet at 225 degrees for 25 minutes. Roll generously in powdered sugar.
