CHICKEN IN WINE 
1 chicken, cut up
3 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion, minced
2 bay leaves
1 c. sliced mushrooms
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. parsley flakes
1 c. white wine
1 c. beef consomme
Salt and pepper to taste

Fry chicken in oil and remove from pan. Add onion and brown. Add chicken and remaining ingredients. Simmer 2-3 hours adding wine as necessary.
