PRUNE NUT BREAD 
1 c. dried prunes, chopped
2 tsp. shredded orange peel
1 c. orange juice
2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
3/4 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
2 beaten eggs
2 tbsp. salad oil
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Combine prunes, orange peel, and juice, let stand 1/2 hour. Sift together dry ingredients. Combine eggs, oil, and prune mixture; add to dry ingredients, mixing well. Add nuts. Turn into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake in moderate oven, 350 degrees, for 55 minutes. Remove from pan; cool.
