HERSHEY CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring 2 sticks butter 2 c. sugar 1 can Hershey syrup 1 (4 oz.) can cream (evaporated milk) 1 c. flour 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate morsels 4 eggs Cake - Cream together 1 stick butter and 1 cup sugar. Add 1 cup flour, 4 eggs, can Hershey syrup and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. To test stick toothpick into cake and pull it out. If toothpick is clean the cake is done. Let cool. Poke holes in cake with fork. ICING: Cook 1/2 cup chocolate morsels, 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter, and can of cream on medium heat until all chocolate morsels are melted. Pour over cake. |
