I used almond bark instead of the chocolate chips and paraffin. They taste great and set up quickly!

Do you use semi sweet chocolate chips or milk chocolate?

 Candi (Idaho) replies:
Use the chocolate melts--sometimes they are in the fruit section (which you use to dip strawberries in). Also, you can melt some almond bark and drizzle over the finished balls to make them look festive!

Where do you buy cake parafin? What measurement is that? 1/8 cake parafin ? 1/8 cup??

 Cooks.com replies:
Hi Patty,

It means a cake of paraffin, or a stick of paraffin, not paraffin for cakes. Any food grade paraffin will do.

Happy Holidays!

Good treats. i used Wilton Candy Melts instead of the chocolate chips and I don't have to add the wax.

We use Chunky peanut butter... it makes the consistency better.

This is a good recipe but I did find that 3 cups Kripsies was too much. I would cut it down to 2 cups and check consistency. Thanks for sharing this treat!
