FASNACHTS 
1 c. potatoes, mashed
2 1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
2 pkgs. dry yeast
4 eggs
5 lbs. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 pt. warm milk
1/2 lb. butter, melted

Combine potatoes (mashed), water, sugar and dry yeast. Let raise for 1/2 hour. Then add remaining ingredients, then knead. Add more flour, if needed. Deep fry.
