AUNT IRMA'S LEMON CHESS PIE 
2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 tbsp. cornmeal
4 eggs
1/4 c. melted butter
1/4 c. milk
4 tbsp. grated lemon rind
1/4 c. lemon juice

Mix sugar, flour and cornmeal; tossing lightly with a fork. Add eggs (unbeaten), beating after each addition. Add melted butter, milk, grated lemon rind and lemon juice. Mix until smooth. Pour into unbaked pie shell. This makes two small pies or one 9 inch pie. Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until brown.
