3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 1/3 c. butter flavor Crisco 1 egg 5 tbsp. water 1 tsp. vinegar Mix flour, salt and Crisco until crumbly. Beat egg in cup. Add 5 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon vinegar. Divide in 4 balls. Can freeze. Whoever has a heart full of love always has something to give. SIX CRUST - PIE CRUST 6 c. flour 2 1/2 c. shortening 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tbsp. salt 1 c. milk Mix flour, salt and shortening to make crumb mixture. Put egg in 1 cup measuring cup, fill with milk. Mix milk mixture with flour mixture. Work dough with hands until consistency of playdough. You can't overmix - so mix thoroughly. Divide into 6 equal parts. Wrap in waxed paper. Freeze well! Use as needed. If used right away, refrigerate 1/2 hour before rolling. |
