GREEN BEAN CASSEROLE 
3 cans French-style green beans
1 tsp. salt
2 buttons garlic
2 small cans mushrooms, chopped
1/2 c. sharp cheese
1/3 c. slivered almonds
Parmesan cheese
cracker crumbs
paprika
4 tbsp. butter
4 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. chili powder
2 c. milk

Cook until thick.

In greased casserole, put layer of beans, mushrooms, almonds, sliced cheese and 1/2 of the sauce. Repeat the layers and top with crumbs and cheese and dot with butter. Sprinkle with paprika.

Bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
