FRENCH OVEN BEEF STEW | |
3 lbs. beef stew meat 6 carrots, quartered 4 med. potatoes, quartered 4 stalks celery, chopped 2 med. onions, quartered 1 tbsp. sugar 1 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. quick tapioca 1 can tomato soup 1 1/4 c. water 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms 1/2 c. Burgundy wine (optional) Place all ingredients in a 4 quart casserole. Cover and bake at 300 degrees for 4 hours or until tender. |
