CALIFORNIA CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion (med.)
1 c. diced celery (2 stalks)
1/4 c. diced green pepper
1 1/2 c. uncooked minute rice
1 lg. (28 oz.) can Hunt's tomatoes (can whole tomatoes cut up)
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. chili powder
Pepper to taste
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. chopped black olives (2-4 oz. cans)

Saute beef and remove from pan. Saute onion and green pepper in beef fat. Add minute rice and stir and brown rice. Stir in tomatoes, water, spices and olives. Mix in beef and bring to a boil. Place in a 3-quart casserole. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 45-60 minutes. Serves 6-8.
