BAKED VEGETABLES 
8 sm. carrots
8 sm. potatoes
8 sm. onions
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 recipe White Sauce
2 tbsp. butter

Pare carrots and potatoes and cut into slices. Peel onions and mince. Combine vegetables in greased baking dish. Season with salt and pepper. Add white sauce and dot with butter. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) about 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
