AUNT REBECCA'S FROZEN STRAWBERRY
JAM
 
2 c. strawberries (washed, mashed)
4 c. sugar
1 pkg. powdered fruit pectin
1 c. water

Combine fruit and sugar; let stand for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Boil pectin and water rapidly for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add berries and stir for 2 minutes. Pour into containers and cover. Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour. Refrigerate for 1 hour or until set and then put into freezer. Makes 5 or 6 jars.
