YUMMY SORGHUM COOKIES 
1 3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. sorghum
2 c. flour
1 tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and white sugar. Beat in egg and sorghum. Beat until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Shape into small balls and roll in sugar. Place on greased sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
