PRETZEL SALAD | |
1 stick butter 1 c. crushed pretzels 1/2 c. sugar 1 can #2 crushed pineapple 2 tbsp. cornstarch 2 pkg. Dream Whip 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese 1/2 c. sugar Melt butter. Add crushed pretzels and sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 9 x 12 inch pan. Bake 10 minutes at 325 degrees and let cool. In a pan combine pineapple and cornstarch. Cook until thick. Let cool. Whip Dream Whip, following package directions. Then add cream cheese and second 1/2 cup sugar. Put Dream Whip mixture on top of crust. Then layer pineapple mixture over top of Dream Whip mixture. Chill and cut into 15 squares to serve. |
