STRAWBERRY PRETZEL SALAD 
3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 1/2 c. crushed pretzels
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 c. sugar
1 sm. container Cool Whip
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen sliced strawberries

BOTTOM LAYER (Crust) : Cream together 3 tablespoon sugar and butter. Add pretzels. Mix. Press into 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Cool.

MIDDLE LAYER: Cream together 1 cup sugar and cream cheese. Stir in Cool Whip. Spread over cooled crust.

TOP LAYER: Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add strawberries. Let gelatin start to gel, then pour over middle layer. Chill several hours.
