TAFFY APPLE SALAD | |
6 to 8 apples, cut in sm. pieces 1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip 1 c. Spanish peanuts 4 c. mini-marshmallows 1 med. chunk pineapple, save juice 1 egg, slightly beaten 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. vinegar Combine pineapple juice, vinegar, egg, flour and sugar. Heat 3 minutes until bubbly. Set aside to cool. Mix pineapple, marshmallows, apples and 3/4 cup nuts. Mix with Cool Whip. Pour over pineapple dressing and over apples. Mix well. Put in serving dish and sprinkle with extra nuts. Refrigerate. |
