FRUIT CAKE COOKIES 
1 lb. candied pineapple, chopped
1 lb. candied cherries, chopped
1 lb. white raisins
8 c. pecans, chopped
1 stick butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
4 eggs
4 c. plain flour (use half to flour fruits)
3 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg & cloves
1 c. juice (orange or grape)

Flour fruits and nuts; set aside. Mix together butter, sugar and eggs. Sift flour with soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Add flour mixture and juice. Stir in fruits and nuts.

Drop dough by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet. Bake 15-20 minutes in a 275 degree oven. Makes about 150 cookies.
