HASH BROWN POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1/2 c. melted butter
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
1 c. chopped onions (or less)
1 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
Salt and pepper
2 c. corn flakes, slightly crushed
1/4 c. melted butter

Partially defrost hash browns; mix them with melted butter, cheddar cheese, onions, sour cream, soup and salt and pepper to taste. Put mixture in greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle corn flakes on top. Pour melted butter over corn flakes. Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour 15 minutes. Serves 10.
