SHORTCAKE FOR YOUR FRESH
STRAWBERRIES
 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. milk

Add all ingredients and mix, just like biscuits. Roll dough 1/2 inch thick. Divide in 2 parts and place in greased pan. Drizzle a little butter over and place the second layer on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Cover with fresh strawberries on bottom layer and place strawberries on top. Serve with whipped cream.
