SWEET & SOUR GREEN BEANS 
4 strips bacon
1/2 sm. onion
3/4 c. sugar
2 cans green beans
1/2 c. vinegar

1. Fry 4 strips bacon in saucepan until crisp.

2. Remove bacon to drain.

3. Saute 1/2 small onion chopped in bacon drippings.

4. Add 3/4 cup sugar to onions and bacon drippings; stir until dissolved.

5. Add 2 cans drained green beans.

6. Add 1/2 cup vinegar; cover.

7. Bring to boil, then turn down heat to simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
