SWEET SOUR GREEN BEANS 
4 strips bacon
1 med. onion, diced
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 (No. 303) cans green beans
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. vinegar
1 hard boiled egg, cut lengthwise in 8 pieces

Fry bacon in skillet until crisp. Remove and crumble bacon. Saute onion lightly in drippings. Stir in flour, salt, dry mustard, pepper. Drain beans, reserving 1 cup liquid. Stir liquid into skillet. Cook, stirring until mixture boils. Blend in brown sugar and vinegar. Add green beans and heat thoroughly. Turn into serving dish and garnish with eggs and bacon. 8 servings.
