FIVE HOUR BEEF STEW 
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. beef, cubed
4 carrots
4 celery
1 onion
1/4 green pepper
2 to 4 potatoes
1 (#2) can stewed tomatoes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 bouillon cube
1 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. tapioca
Salt and pepper to taste

Stir all ingredients into a 3 quart casserole. Cover and put in 250 degree oven for 5 hours!!
