CHINESE CABBAGE SALAD 
1 head Chinese cabbage, shredded and drained (so it isn't watery)
5 green onions, shred with cabbage

Refrigerate. In skillet cook:

1/2 c. butter
2 pkg. Ramen noodles (without seasoning packet)
1/2 c. slivered almonds
1/2 c. sesame seeds

Spread on a paper towel to soak up extra oil.

DRESSING:

1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. white vinegar
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. soy sauce

Shake or stir until sugar is dissolved. DO NOT add the nut mixture or dressing until you are ready to serve. Makes a lot.
