2 sticks butter
3 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating after each addition. Sift flour and baking powder and add alternately with milk. Fold in lemon flavor and beat well. Bake in a tube cake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes and place on rack to continue cooling.
