MARINARA SAUCE FOR PASTA
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup orange juice (some people may not believe in adding this but it makes the sauce that much better)
1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
1 (6 oz.) can crushed peeled tomatoes
1 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. salt (use 1/2 tsp. and let your diners add at table, if desired)
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (or, to taste)
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tbsp. (fresh) chopped oregano
1 1/2 tbsp. (fresh) chopped basil
3 tsp. olive oil

Bring water and orange juice to a boil in a large saucepan. When boiling point is reached bring to a simmer and add tomato paste and crushed peeled tomatoes. Mix well then add in crushed red pepper, white pepper and salt. Let sit for about 5 minutes. Mix and add garlic, oregano, and basil. After another five minutes add in olive oil and let simmer for an hour.

Serve over your favorite meal (you may want to add in some more salt or other favorite ingredients). ENJOY.
