ALMOND-FUDGE BARS 
2 c. (firmly packed) brown sugar
Butter, softened
2 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/2 c. baking mix
3 c. quick cooking oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. sweetened condensed milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. chopped almonds

Combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup butter, eggs and 2 teaspoons vanilla in large bowl; mix well. Add baking mix and oats; stir until of uniform consistency. Heat chocolate chips, condensed milk, 2 tablespoons butter and salt in 2 quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Stir in 1/2 cup almonds and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Press 2/3 of the oatmeal mixture with greased hands into greased jelly roll pan. Drizzle chocolate mixture over top. Sprinkle with 1 cup almonds; press lightly into mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool completely. Cut into 2"x1" bars. Yield: 70 bars.
