BROWN SUGAR PRALINES 
1 box light brown sugar
1/3 c. water
1/2 to 1 1/2 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla
Pinch of salt

Prepare waxed paper. Boil sugar, salt, and water to soft ball stage (250 degrees on candy thermometer). Remove from heat; beat for a few minutes. Add nuts and vanilla. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or saran wrap (will cystalize rapidly so must be spooned up quickly).
