BUTTERBALL COOKIES 
1/2 lb. butter
4 tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. powdered sugar (set aside)

Cream butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Roll small balls in palm of hand and bake at 250 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool slightly and roll in powdered sugar.
