MASALA CASHEWS 
1 lb. raw cashews
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. ground chili or cayenne powder
1 1/2 tsp. salt

Spread cashews in single layer in roasting pan and put in 325 degree oven. Roast, stir occasionally, until cashews are toasted 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and let cool. Melt butter. In separate bowl, combine chili and salt. When cashews are slightly cool; pour butter over them and sprinkle with chili salt mix. Toss to coat cashews.
