SCALLOPED POTATOES 
6 med. potatoes
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. chopped onion

Make white sauce of butter, flour, and milk. Peel potatoes and slice thin. Put half of the potatoes in greased casserole; cover with half the sauce, seasonings, and onion. Add the rest of sauce and seasoning on the second half of potatoes. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake until top is browned.
