"TOOTS" PEAR CAKE 
3 eggs, beaten
3 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Crisco oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 c. diced pears
1 c. pecans

Combine eggs, sugar and cooking oil and vanilla. Set aside. Combine flour, cinnamon, salt and baking soda. Combine dry ingredients with the mixture; set aside. Add pears and pecans. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour in tube pan sprayed with Pam.
