PEAR TORTE CAKE 
1 can pears
1/3 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs
1/2 c. sour cream
1 pkg. yellow cake mix

Mix the following ingredients together and set aside: 3/4 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cinnamon

Drain pears, saving 2/3 cup of the juice. Place pears, juice, sour cream and baking soda in blender. Blend until smooth. Place cake mix and pear mixture in bowl. Beat until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beat smooth after each egg.

Heavily grease Bundt pan. Coat with some of the sugar, cinnamon and nut mixture. Layer cake mixture and remaining sugar mixture in Bundt pan at least 3 times. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until done. Cool for at least 30 minutes in pan. Turn onto plate or cake dish.

SAUCE:

1 pkg. (4 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. heavy cream, whipped
(Cool Whip can be used)
