TONI'S CUBE STEAKS AND GRAVY 
6 cube steaks
all-purpose flour
2 onions, sliced thin separate into rings
1 env. onion gravy mix
1 env. mushroom gravy mix
1 env. brown gravy mix
butter
3 cups water, divided

Dredge cube steaks in flour, three at a time. Brown steaks on both sides in butter. Add two cups of water to Crock-Pot while the steaks are browning. Add three cube steaks to the water and half of the onions. Brown remaining three cube steaks and add to Crock with rest of onions.

Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 5-7. Half hour before ready to eat mix gravy packets (I use McCormick) with cup of water and pour over meat. Serve when gravy thickens.
