TURKEY CANTONESE | |
1/2 c. chicken or turkey broth (fat skimmed) 1 lb. Louis Rich turkey breast slices, julienned 2 med. Spanish onions, halved and sliced 1 clove garlic 2 chopped green bell peppers 2 chopped red bell peppers 1 c. pineapple juice 4 tbsp. soy sauce 2 pinches of anise or fennel seed Combine the broth, garlic and pineapple juice in a wok or large frying pan, bring to a boil. Boil for 10-15 minutes to reduce liquid. Place turkey in wok or frying pan, stir fry for 10 minutes. Add the sliced onions, peppers, soy sauce and anise or fennel seed. Stir and cook for an additional 4 minutes. Optional: serve on bed of rice, if desired. Yield: 5 servings. 1 serving-160 calories. |
