GRANDMA'S TERIYAKI CHICKEN 
1 whole chicken, cut up
1 tbsp. finely chopped fresh ginger
1/3 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. water
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. sake or cooking wine

Marinate chicken in sauce in refrigerator for at least 8 hours. Turn chicken every 2 hours.

Cook in 325 degree oven for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours, basting occasionally with sauce.
