GRANDMA NELLIE BANKS CHICKEN AND
NOODLES
 
1 frying chicken
2 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs
1/4 - 1/2 c. milk
2 tsp. salt & pepper
1/3 c. oil or Crisco
1 stick butter
1 c. milnot

Cook chicken saving the broth in a large pan. To make noodles, combine flour, eggs and salt, adding milk a little at a time, mix this well. Turn dough onto well floured board and knead until paper thin. Then cut dough in 1/4" strips. Have chicken broth boiling and drop noodles in a few at a time. Cut chicken into pieces and add to the noodles. Steam for 10 to 15 minutes.
