GRANDMA'S NOODLES 
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
3 lg. onions, chopped
1-1 1/2 lb. ground beef or chuck
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (12 oz.) pkg. med. egg noodles
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated

Use Dutch oven or fairly large pot. Chop up tomatoes well and start cooking. Turn to simmer and stir frequently. Saute onions in a small amount of vegetable oil. Put in pot with tomatoes. Brown ground meat, stirring and turning until all red is gone. Drain off fat and put meat in pot with tomatoes and onions. Season with Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer 1 hour. If more liquid is needed, add a little water. After the sauce has simmered for an hour, cook noodles according to package directions. Do not overcook noodles. Let the sauce continue to cook. Drain the noodles, rinse with hot water and mix with the sauce a little at a time. Noodles are better if allowed to stand for awhile for seasoning.
