FAMILY - STYLE TUNA CASSEROLE 
1 1/2 c. Rice Krispies cereal
1 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. shredded American cheese
6 1/2 oz. chunk light tuna, well drained and flaked
1 1/2 c. egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 c. mayonnaise
10 oz. frozen peas and carrots, thawed

Toss 1 cup of the cereal with the melted butter. Set aside for topping. St aside 1/2 cup of the cheese. Stir together remaining cereal and cheese, tuna, noodles, soup and mayonnaise. Stir in peas and carrots.

Spoon into 1 1/2-quart round casserole. Sprinkle with reserved cheese and cereal topping. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

Variation: Omit peas and carrots. Add any combination of the following: 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery, 1/2 cup sliced water chestnuts or 1/4 cup toasted, slivered almonds.
