TEXAS STYLE HASH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. cooked rice (not instant)
Salt and pepper to taste
American cheese (optional)

Cook ground beef, onion, and green pepper. Drain. Add tomatoes, rice, salt, and pepper. Simmer until thickened. If desired, put in casserole dish and top with American cheese.
