MAVERICK CLAMS 
36 cherrystone clams
8 tbsp. finely chopped pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped pimento
1 tbsp. capers
1 tbsp. chives
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Arrange clams on the 1/2 shell or in a shallow baking dish. Combine all other ingredients and place a scant teaspoon of mixture on each clam. Broil 3 inches from unit for 5 minutes. Serve at once. Makes 6-8 servings.
