CHICKEN IN WINE - MUSHROOM SAUCE 
2 tbsp. olive oil
1 pkg. garlic salad dressing (dry)
1 can tomatoes, peeled & sliced
3/4 lb. mushrooms (sliced
1 med. onion (diced)
6 to 8 pieces chicken (thighs work best)
3/4 c. white wine
1 tsp. basil leaves
1 tsp. tarragon leaves
2 bay leaves
Butter
Sprinkle pepper
2 tbsp. flour

Sprinkle salad dressing on chicken pieces, save what is left. Saute seasoned chicken in olive oil until golden (10 minute a side). Remove chicken and set aside. Pour off oil-grease. Add a pot of butter and saute onions and mushrooms until soft. Add tomatoes (fill can with juice), flour, seasonings, wine and stir. Replace chicken, cover and simmer over low heat for at least 45 minutes. For real treat, serve over spaghetti.
