CANDY MINTS 
1 egg white
4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter, melted
1/4 cup cold water
1 tsp. cream of tartar
2 (1 lb. ea.) boxes confectioners' sugar
3/4 tsp. peppermint flavoring
3 or 4 bottles food coloring (your choice of colors)

Mix all ingredients like dough except food coloring. Divide into 3 or 4 sections; tint each a different color with food coloring.

Form into small balls and flatten with a fork.

Let set on waxed paper for a few hours; refrigerate.

Makes 12 dozen.
