CHOCOLATE BITTERSWEETS 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 to 1 1/2 c. flour

Combine and shape into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press in center. Bake 12 to 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Fill while warm.

CREAMY NUT FILLING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. powdered sugar, sifted
1 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream well. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and 1/2 cup coconut.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. water

1/2 c. powdered sugar

Beat until smooth. Pour over cookies. Yields 4 dozen.
