BANANA CAKE 
2/3 c. butter
1 2/3 c. sugar
3 eggs
1 1/4 c. mashed bananas
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
2/3 c. buttermilk

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in eggs; add bananas and mix well. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture with buttermilk.

Bake for 50 minutes at 350°F in 9 x 13-inch pan.

Serves 10 to 12.

Frosting:

1 c. milk
small box instant pudding
1 small container Cool Whip

Beat milk and pudding for 2 minutes. Add Cool Whip and mix until well blended.
