GERMAN CASSEROLE 
1 (14 oz.) can sauerkraut and liquid
2/3 c. uncooked white rice
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lg. ground beef or pork sausage
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

Pour sauerkraut into casserole. Sprinkle with rice, then onion, beef (or pork), salt and pepper and tomato sauce. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Makes 5 servings.
